Integra Therapy is a private physiotherapy clinic located within the Central YMCA building on Great Russell street not far from the East side of Oxford Street. At Integra Therapy, physiotherapy is used with an understanding of how mindfulness affects our wellbeing and the core belief is that to optimise your health, what you say and think, believe and feel and what you do and act has to be integrated and in harmony together. The skill at Integra Therapy is to help patients to see how habits in each of these three areas influence their health. Integra Therapy has been practising a range of cutting edge physiotherapy techniques and getting amazing results since 1999. One of the principle techniques used at Integra Therapy is Fascia Release. The fascia is the connective tissue which permeates the body and is most commonly recognised as the white, sinewy matter that surrounds muscles in meat.
Fascial Release, the technique by which soft tissues are released with the aim that the body achieves a more aligned and balanced state, works by facilitating increased blood flow, endocrine function, sensory motor responses and a feeling of relaxation. As anyone can benefit from a better understanding of how their body works and how their body can work better for them, a very wide range of clients have benefited from the approach that is taken at Integra Therapy. Some of the client groups that have benefitted from treatments at Integra Therapy are sportsmen, creative professionals, TV and film crews, office and manual workers and senior citizens.
